I’m excited about the publication of this book, which is the result of conversations conducted between 2021 and 2024 with leading philosophical theologians working in a broadly continental tradition.
The interviews focus on questions of formation and vision:
– What were the most important philosophical voices, and the most captivating theological conversations with them, that formed you as a (philosophical) theologian?
– In light of that formation (including, perhaps, what it lacked), and the directions of your work since then, how do you understand the arc or trajectory of (philosophical) theology of which you are part?
– To develop this trajectory, what research questions should be addressed in the next three to five years? What philosophical voices should be heard, or what neglected arguments, methods or theories considered?
