I’m delighted to be contributing to the launch of A.N. Wilson’s latest book, Goethe: His Faustian Life, at Wigmore Hall on 20 September.
The programme includes Lieder inspired by Goethe, Liszt’s Piano Sonata in B Minor performed by Stephen Hough, and a panel discussion on Goethe’s Faust by A.N. Wilson, Neil MacGregor and me.
