Art in Conversation

  • by

As part of my project Mapping the Imagination and Brendan Wolfe’s sister project Text and Image, we are launching a year-long multidisciplinary seminar series entitled Art in Conversation.

The seminar brings together speakers from neuroscience, psychology, philosophy, theology, and art history to discuss central topics in contemporary aesthetics, including the sublime, emotions and art, image properties and embodied cognition. It runs fortnightly on Friday afternoons; for an invitation, please contact me.

Mapping the Imagination is part of Templeton Religion Trust’s Art Seeking Understanding initiative.
